Career Requirements

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics– this role requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, a 4 to 5 year apprenticeship program is expected of new Electricians entering the field. Most states also require Electricians to pass a licensing exam and may mandate continuing education courses in order to maintain any earned licenses.
